Key Accountabilities:
- Act as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for India Manufacturing Data, Metrics, Performance Indicators, Reviews, Data Analysis, and Management Information Systems (MIS).
- Lead digitalization initiatives across manufacturing, encompassing data collection, storage, communication, synthesis, analysis, MIS, processes, and Industry 4.0.
- Support ERP implementation and transformation at the India level.
- Drive standardization across manufacturing in KPIs, Command Centre, Shop floor management systems, production management system, and visualization.
- Spearhead special projects focused on Lean methodologies to enhance manufacturing performance in areas of Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Morale, and Environment (SQDCME).
- Manage specific programs/New Product Introductions (NPIs) for transitioning products from other countries to India.
- Establish a Center of Excellence (COE) for Project/Program management within Manufacturing Operations.
- Provide necessary support to Technical and Business/Program Management teams.
- Assist finance partners in preparing Manufacturing Capex/Opex Budgets, monitoring, and reporting financial indicators.
- Monitor and control manufacturing expenses and overheads from a cost perspective (Opex).
- Drive Learning & Development (L&D) and Engagement initiatives within the India Manufacturing team.
- Support technical department in preparing business cases for capacity enhancement or technological upgrading projects.
- Promote and support the adoption of new manufacturing technologies and sustainability initiatives at Manufacturing facilities.
What you bring:
- Proven experience in the Manufacturing Industry, preferably in Automotive, Heavy Engineering, Mining, or Auto Consulting sectors.
- Engineering qualification, with PMP or Project Management professional certification and 12+ years of experience.
- Proficiency in Manufacturing Engineering, Industry 4.0, Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), Capex Projects, and Project Management.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems, Power BI, Center of Excellence (COE) establishment, and Project/Program management techniques.
- Techno-Commercial experience and mindset.
- Familiarity with Matrix organization and reporting structures.
- Exposure to international and multi-stakeholder management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and computer technology.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong leadership and managerial attributes.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
