Position Overview:The
Manufacturing Manager is responsible for developing, improving, and optimizing industrial processes to maintain efficiency, reduce cost, improve sustainability, and maximize profitability.
Key Responsibilities:Process Development and Optimization: Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing processes by studying product and manufacturing methods.
Cost Reduction: Identify and implement cost-saving measures related to production processes and equipment.
Equipment Design: Work alongside equipment designers and manufacturing officers to develop a cost-effective and working production process.
Quality Assurance: Ensure that manufacturing processes comply with standards at both domestic and international levels.
Problem Solving: Diagnose problems with the manufacturing process and develop feasible solutions.
Safety and Compliance: Oversee the safety aspects of the production process, ensuring that all safety measures are in place and routinely tested.
Documentation: Maintain reliable and safe manufacturing systems while improving production rates, efficiencies, yields, costs, and changeovers.
Collaboration: Work with other engineers, managers, and operations staff to achieve corporate goals.
Continuous Improvement: Introduce and implement lean manufacturing principles and practices.
Training: Train and guide production staff on new processes and modifications.
Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Several years of experience in process engineering or industrialization, preferably in the relevant industry.
- Proficiency with CAD software, statistical analysis tools, and other relevant software.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment
