Responsibilities and duties The Manufacturing Head will report to MD of the company. - Manage daily operations of the plant to meet time, cost and quality requirements of various projects under execution. - Ensure safety and efficiency of the plant.&nbsp; - Oversee the supply chain requirement of Unit. - Monitor and control plant processes as per company business management system. - Effective administrative control of the plant and meeting compliance requirements from statutory bodies. - Responsible for planning and execution of the plant. - Responsible and accountable for overall functioning of the Unit. Qualifications and skills - Experience in heavy Manufacturing/machining companies. - Good knowledge of materials and welding processes. - Good knowledge and exposure to Quality Management systems, - Previous experience of working in project environments would be a great advantage. - Good knowledge of materials of manufacture and manufacturing processes. - Good knowledge of vendors/ suppliers of heavy engineering components.
