ROLE : Associate Director – Pre-Sales (Customer Analytics)
REPORTS TO : Business Head – Customer Analytics
EXPERIENCE : 15 Years +
EDUCATION : Engineer or Bachelor of Sciences + MBA or Masters in OR/Econometrics/Applied Mathematics
LOCATION : Bangalore, India
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Responsible for accelerating the sales pipeline and working with sales teams to acquire new customers
a) Lead product demonstrations, customer workshops to understand requirements and articulate portfolio fitment
b) Lead customer pitches, participate in pre-sales conversations, customer proposals
c) Train sales & inside sales teams on product capability, competitive value proposition, and market trends
2. Own go-to-market motions for Customer Analytics portfolio
a) Be the product and domain Subject Matter Expert for field sales teams, develop demand generation plans and drive opportunities down the sales funnel
b) Identify target markets, opportunity sizing, competitive value proposition
c) Create sales assets to drive GTM – solution pitches, demo scripts, battle cards, tele-sales scripts, e-mail content
d) Create marketing assets to support GTM motions – website content, product brochures, white papers, competitive value propositions, ROI calculators
3. Lead functional consulting teams during product deployments
a) Lead detailed requirements gathering and gap analysis
b) Participate in product configuration, customization and user training
c) Quantify the impact of deployments
4. Be the company’s spokesperson at industry conferences & events, evangelize the portfolio with industry analysts
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
1. Possess between 15+ years of overall experience in deploying Customer and Marketing Analytics solutions within consumer marketing organizations - Retail, CPG, Telco, Hospitality industries
2. Expertise in BI and Analytics Tools – SAS, SPSS, MicroStrategy etc and Excel Solver
3. Must possess a Graduate Degree in Engineering or Sciences, and an Advanced Degree in Management or Quantitative Sciences from a premier institution
4. Understanding of the BI and Analytics market and competitive landscape
5. Experience in CRM and Loyalty Management software applications
6. Proven ability to work in a global team environment
7. Strong executive presence, communication skills
