ROLE : Sales Director - SAARC (India, Srilanka etc)

LOCATION : Bangalore, Mumbai

REPORTING TO : SVP - Sales & BD

BROAD RESPONSIBILITIES :

- Trusted advisor to clients in choosing right solution and value creation

- Drive revenue and growth for Manthan's portfolio of products in SAARC(India, Srilanka etc)

- Portfolio includes Merchandise Analytics, Customer marketing platform, Supplier collaboration & Vendor Insights

- Manage the entire Sales life cycle from lead generation to closure. 


This would include the following :

- Prospect development

- Understanding business and technology scenario/needs

- Identifying and qualifying opportunities

- Product demonstrations

- Preparation of proposals

- Final negotiation and closure

- Identify newer growth segments

- Implement and adopt sales processes and best practices for predictable funnel movement

ESSENTIAL QUALIFIERS FOR THIS ROLE:

- Rich experience in India and SAARC countries

- Proven experience of selling deals with ARR > $120,000

- Requires min 10 days of travel.

- Ability to unearth unknown needs and do product demos

- Hunter & Husting mindset

- Excellent communicative skills both verbally and in written form.

- Self-starter with the ability to work independently.

- Has strong executive presence.

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE FOR THE ROLE :

- Experience of selling retail, marketing and/or analytics solutions in the SaaS model.

- Experienced in engaging with C-level executives in IT, Marketing, Merchandising.

- Possess strong understanding and relationships in the Retail.

- Experience of working with geographically diverse/distributed teams.
