Objectives :

The Solutions Sales Specialist is critical for engaging with the customers in the sphere of Publishing sector to understand their pain-points in their current workflows, needs and requirements and propose/suggest and consult them on the right set of solutions that shall address their needs effectively.

Responsibilities :

- Engage in study of the technology trends, customer requirements, technology roadmap and set of existing solutions within the content value chain for the Publishing industry

- Work closely with the Product Development and Business Development team to validate the solutions being tested and analyzed and figure out potential target markets for the same.

- Ability to analyze initial Request for Proposals (RFPs), produce a high level summary and quickly provide a snapshot on the capture / proposal requirements.

- Act as Solutions expert and consultant to sell the products and solutions

- Winning new license sales revenue in line with targets

- Developing a strategy and sales plan to address the designated Territory/ industry sector

- Generating and following up on leads

- Qualifying leads and prioritizing opportunities

- Identifying and working with the appropriate people within the Solutions Partner base and the Customer

- Developing, extending and maintaining relationships with the appropriate staff (Product Development and Business Development Team)

- Maintaining an understanding of companies strategic direction towards solutioning and interpreting its relevance to the industry sector

- Creating the necessary marketing collateral along with the solutioning partners to ensure wider visibility and generate relevant interest within the customer base

Job Specifications :

- Graduate with a deep insight on the Print and Publishing industry and a prior experience of working in the industry on Preferably Technical or Sales Background.

- Understanding of the end to end Content Value chain of the Publishing Industry and the dominant trends and players within each segment of the value chain

- Team player with strong interpersonal/communication skills

- Good contacts within Publishing Industry with a prior experience of working in the Export Market (US, UK, etc.) on the Publishing Services front will be a plus.

- Prior experience in Business Case development will be an advantage.

- Good interpersonal & communication skills

- Good Team Player

- Candidate should be comfortable making presentations to experienced business teams and CXO level executives

- Possessing excellent skills in oral presentation and written communication are prerequisites and the candidate needs to handle various challenges with an ability to solve them and thus possess ability to think outside of the box within a dynamic and fast paced work environment.
