Senior Manager - Finance & Accounts  Job Purpose :   - Responsible for book keeping and smooth functioning of finance function.  - Monthly closing and preparation of MIS and maintenance and keeping the accounting records.  - Set of internal control and processes and Responsible for implementing standard operating practice (SOP) for various processes.  - Co-ordination with Auditors for statutory, Internal and Transfer pricing audits   - Support CEO/ Directors for monthly / periodic MIS  - Ensures that the company complies with group requirements in reporting of management accounts, statutory accounts, budgets, and forecasts, audit of accounts and evaluation of capex.  - Handling Direct and Indirect Taxes  - Participates in overall management by providing financial input to company management in arriving at business decisions.  - Participation in the company's annual Budget and Business plan  - Responsible for timely fee collection from customers and reporting overdue status to Management at regular intervals.  - Monitoring the fund position for effective utilization of the fund.  - Ensuring all types legal and statutory compliance related to running the education service.  - Handling of new projects and upcoming projects  Critical Accountabilities :   - Set-up easy to understand business processes and establish effective controls to ensure maximum support to growth  - Accurate and timely closing the books and reporting of MIS and recommend appropriate changes to the Management   - Ensure Statutory and regulatory Compliance   - Statutory, Internal and other Audits.  Desired Profile :  - Chartered Accountant/ Cost Accountant 10+ years experience in service or other industry having sound accounting knowledge, current accounting practices and international accounting standards   Skills and Knowledge :   - Should have working knowledge of Indian GAAP, IFRS, Tax Laws, Legal matters.  - Should have excellent written and communication skills  - Should have good interpersonal skills and should be able to communicate at all levels with the Company and also other Group Companies  Very good knowledge of information systems, particularly SAP and other ERP software. Proficiency in the use of MS word, Excel and PowerPoint.
