Overall purpose:
Devise and implement local and vital strategic recruitment programs to hire quality candidates
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for engaging business leadership in addressing key recruitment challenges, developing the strategic approach for and leading initiatives in sourcing, assessment and other areas to support recruiting
- Drive market intelligence on talent, competitor landscape, and geographical recruitment trends and practices, providing guidance and support as needed to business leads and enable meaningful conversations
- Anticipates and resolves issues-Anticipates, takes mitigating steps to avoid, and quickly resolves issues that occur.
- Strong technical hiring skills including knowledge on IT Product and services to be able to source the best Talent
- Manage employer branding on intranet and internet
- Drive internship program. Identify select colleges and work with functional managers to give out projects. Review of internees with the functional managers and identify talent for placement offers
- Builds a quality relationship with the internal customers and external recruitment agencies
-Operates with a large degree of autonomy and independence. Provides recommendations on policy/process improvements and provides input to the development of new procedures for area of responsibility.
