Job Description

- Managing the entire strategy for the Hindi site ; focusing on News content.

- Creating and managing original content for the website

- Writing stories from TV rundowns and editing agency copy

- Scanning agencies for stories and pictures

- Managing and maintaining photo galleries and specials

- Tracking news and monitoring competition

- Coordinating, publishing and display of video content

- Contributing towards growth in Page Views and Unique Views

- Achieving defined target of unique and overall page views

- Coordinating with programming teams for updates.

Desired Candidate Profile:

- Post Graduate in Journalism/ Bachelor in Mass Media

- 8 to 15 years of work experience in News & Digital.

- Excellent Hindi and English written & verbal communication skills

- Political Knowledge & high on general awareness

- Impeccable attention to detail

- Ability to manage and perform in a multitasking environment

- Writing, rewriting and editing skills

- Proficiency in Content Management System

- Editorial judgment

- Knowledge of internet technologies
