EDUCATION: Early years education from a reputed college/university (ECCE) - BA/MA in English JOB SUMMARY: This is a senior role in the Early years (0-8 years) Ed-tech space. The Managing Editor will lead a team responsible for ideation, planning, developing and deploying curriculum-oriented discipline-specific content. The role will broadly involve list-planning, preparing a blueprint for content to be imparted digitally to children aged 0-8 years, maintaining strict timelines, identifying and working with potential authors, leading and mentoring a team of editors, managing copyrights, permissions, creative services, internal and external stakeholders, quality assurance and control and adherence to a budget in the process of execution. OUTCOMES: The individual's effort will potentially result in building demanding yet engaging and sustainable learning practices pertinent to 21st century skills and a conscientious digital content for Early years education. Job Responsibilities: Major: Product and Content Management - To lead in conjunction with the Chief Content Officer (CCO), the development of the product strategy and a roadmap for the discipline in terms of content standards, pedagogical expectations and learning outcomes for the new digital product for early years. - Design Customized Curriculum/Content for Ed-tech products. Guide content creators to frame relevant and challenging content. Review content to move to final stage. - Develop a dynamic and documented management processes for e-learning project files, demarcation of course content for different levels for the purpose of content development as well as renewal, content management and curation. - Design and develop effective instructional interactions to create interactive, engaging course content, simulations for software, tools etc. while collaborating with different teams. - Collaborate with instructional designers, subject matter experts and other staff to direct, design develop and lead media-rich learning objects that combine text, graphics, animation, and stimulation, audio and video assets. - Work with Learning Management System (LMS) vendors and other similar vendors. - To prioritize, delegate and manage work to adhere to critical project timelines and market demands - To inspire the team towards leveraging each member's potential in organization-building Strategy &amp; Planning: - Create operational reviews of content and analysis of user engagement. - Support and maintain the global knowledge base and repository for best practice documents, key tools and templates - Prepare and present project status reports to management and stakeholders. - Designing and conducting workshops on Train the trainer programs.
