This position in one such client of ours who wants to start up in India.
About Client : Its a leading supplier of specialty chemicals and partner for high performance adhesives, bonding systems, epoxy resin adhesives, potting and casting resins in Europe. Founded in 1974 and headquarters at Germany.
Job Description :
- Overall accountability for company setup and ownership of sales in India.
- Developing a long term strategic plan to enhance the Company's competitive positioning and promote new orders, sales, profitability, and growth.
- Identify new target customers/markets and develop new opportunities/solutions based on changes in market, legislation and regulations.
- Identifying areas of opportunity for short and long term change to improve profitability.
- Interact with customers/prospects for the purpose of marketing and selling, evaluating performance and strength, delivery of customer product training, negotiating agreements, supporting customer product integration, and sales planning and forecasting.
- Maintain customer files and information in database.
- Prepare segment sales forecasts.
- Compare monthly sales results to goals and take corrective action where necessary.
- Provide sales input for annual strategic planning process.
- Recommend pricing programs to remain competitive.
- Team Management.
- Ensure that the duties and responsibilities of subordinates are clearly defined and communicated to them.
- Recruiting new members for the team.
- Represent company with highest standards of professional conduct and ethics.
- Must be willing to travel.
Work Experience :
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering with minimum 12 years of successful sales experience.
- Significant and meaningful experience working in a similar business leadership role.
- Experience in adhesives, composites and others specialty chemicals is a must.
- Results-oriented with a proven ability to meet or exceed sales goals.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to resolve complex problems in a timely and effective manner.
- Ability to manage multiple projects involving a variety of resources with defined deadlines.
- Strong customer-focused orientation.
- Ability to self-manage and take initiative.
- Ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects.
- Ability to manage & motivate the team.
- Flexible and adaptability to change.
