- The client is amongst the World's Top-5 Vegetable breeding companies, with operations in 30+ countries. The Indian operations focus on Product Development, R&D, Breeding, Seeds, Sales & Market Development. With Head-office is in Bengaluru, it has a R&D Centre in Karnataka and trial stations in north and west India.

- The company has a Vertically Integrated management structure and a truly people- oriented culture. There are 3 Managing Directors, jointly responsible for growth in India; the other two are focused on Commercial (Sales & BD); and Technical/R&D functions. They report to the Business Managers of cluster Asia, who are based in The Netherlands and Australia.

Candidate Attributes:

- The ideal candidate would be masters degree in Management or Business Economics, experience of 14+ years, pref. with knowledge / exposure to agriculture related industries.

- Your responsibility is to monitor and control all HR, financial, administrative, legal and IT. You have strong people management skills and can build bridges between different people. We are seeking an inspirational leader and organizer with an international outlook (having worked abroad would be an advantage), someone who is both people and result-oriented.

- You have a hands-on approach and enjoy taking up practical work like conducting interviews and working closely with the finance team. Every year, you will make a five-year development plan, including investment & personnel plans and cost development, in close collaboration with the other two MDs.
