Client Details

Our client is a global auto component manufacturer with a presence in 100+ countries. They are considered to be pioneers in this space, and are always at the forefront of developing and launching new and innovative products in the market. They have been able to develop strategic relationships with almost all major automobile companies and OEM's. In India, they have been present for around 2 decades, and have been able to achieve a market leading position in this space. They are currently looking to recruit a Managing Director, based out of their office in Delhi NCR.

Description

Reporting to the Asia Pacific Regional Director, you will be responsible for -

- Manage the country P&L.

- Represent the Company's interests within India in all commercial, government and professional aspects

- Lead, guide and motivate the team to work towards overall company objectives.

- Liaise with different global stakeholders to develop mid term/long term business plans.

- Manage relationships with key customers.

- Ensure compliance to relevant laws, acts and ethical/environmental standards.

In order to maintain its market leading position, the client is looking at focusing extensively on their operations and manufacturing practice. For this, you will be responsible for working closely with the different Plant Head's to drive operational efficiency.

Profile

- Engineering or Manufacturing Degree

- 15+ years of experience in the Auto Industry (ideally with MNCs/JVs with MNCs)

- Currently working as a MD or Head of Manufacturing/Operations

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Leadership and team management skills

- Ability to liaise extensively with global stakeholders

- Ability to adopt a macro/micro approach towards the business

- Strong business acumen and drive
