The role would encompass the following:

The following details out the expectations from each of the areas:
Practice Development
1. Build on the existing Pharma Practice Vision of becoming most preferred Pharma Operations Solution Provider
2. Develop thought leadership and solutions that meet expectations of domestic pharma Industry Operations leaders
3. Bring in fresh perspectives/thought leadership on engagements and continuously strive to improve delivery capabilities in Pharma through new offerings
4. Contribute to visibility improvement on Pharma operations consulting to PwC internal teams as well as with clients
5. Be an active contributor in various Pharma Forums like IDMA, OPPI, BDMAI
6. Enhance visibility of the firm through writing articles in various Pharma Magazines
7. Develop a team of competent professionals with capabilities to deliver engagements in the area of Pharma
8. Meet Practice targets in terms of revenue, growth and profitability
Business Development
1. New client additions to the firm on a year-on-year basis
2. Liaise with Sector Leader ( Pharma and Life Sciences) and leverage internal relationship
3. Harvest existing relationships by becoming strategic consulting partner to provide PwC’s solutions in Advisory space
4. Generate cross-sell opportunities for the firm across Advisory, Assurance and Tax
Client Delivery
1. Manage relationships at client end and lead complex projects
2. Meet / exceed year on year revenue targets
3. Position end-to-end offerings of PwC operations consulting in clients/prospects
Ensure follow-on work from existing clients through strong positive relationship building
4. Perform the role of Steering Committee on engagements
5. Responsible for high quality client delivery that meets deliverables of the engagement
6. Deliver end-to-end engagements in Pharma, that would encompass manufacturing, supply chain, sales/revenue enhancement and new product development
Knowledge Management
1. Develop new Offerings
2. Improve current offering
3. Manage Pharma knowledge data base
4. Built bench marks
5. Coach and train consulting teams in pharma domain offerings

Required skill sets:
Proficient in various tools and methodologies like Lean, Six Sigma, TOC, TPM,
Functional /consulting experience in pharma industry at middle/senior management level with proven experience of implementing operations improvement initiatives
Educational qualification: BE / BE+MBA
Reporting to: Executive Director Operations Consulting
No. of years of work experience : 10 - 15 years
