Manager - Warehouse Automation

Job Description :

- Responsible for the automation prototype design and standardization on conveyors, MHE projects

- Develop and manage strong strategic relationships with our key suppliers and business partners to Improve Designs, compress project lifecycles, advance solution quality and improve capital efficiencies

- Facilitate suppliers- understanding of company policies, equipment design standards, Equipment Performance targets, and service and quality expectations

- Responsible for the design and improvement on the existing FC MHE's (including Conveyor,Lifts, Sorters and motorized equipment etc.)

- Responsible for the research on new technology for the customer fulfillment and transportation buildings

- Evaluate alternative solutions, best practices and benchmarks in the industry

- Preparation of RFI/RFQ/ sizing SOW related to MHE's

- Experience in Technical Evaluations / DAPof the Proposed Solution by the Vendors

- Knowledge of geared drives, Pneumatics, Belts, power requirement analysis

- Knowledgeable in conveyor/auto equipment application engg, specifications and PLC control system.

- Good experience in Application engg knowledge

- MHE vendor and product development. Techno-commercial discussions and assisting procurement and project team for timely completion of SLA's

- Vendor Pre-qualification, shortlisting and developing considering long terms goals

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS :

1. Automation/Mechanical/Industrial Engineering related degree.

2. 5-15 years experience in Traditional Retail, E-Commerce, Logistics or Express industry related MHS development, manufacturing, 3P Logistics Service Providers or Automation Companies.

3. Knowledgeable in conveyor/auto equipment specifications and PLC control system
