TAS Analytics Manager will be responsible for managing multiple teams responsible for:

- Bond Analytics team: - Develop Deal Cash Flow Models using bond scripting language in iMAKE Analytics On-Demand (AOD) platform for US Residential Mortgage Backed Securities, Asset Backed Securities and Re-Remic deals for periodic Bonds payment as per governing documents and generating. Team is also responsible for bond payment processing worth up to USD 20 billion monthly and Investor Reporting of 3000+ transactions

- Tax Analytics team: - Set up tax and cash flow models to support bond payments to investors of mortgaged-backed and asset-backed securities and subsequent tax reporting to bond, equity, and regulatory agencies. This includes utilization of leading edge technological platforms for model development, REMIC, Grantor Trust and other tax structures including validation of cash flow model output through statistical analysis, OID analysis and ensuring data quality utilizing database applications

- Asset Analytics Team: Setup Asset Compliance Models and generate reports relating to the CDO/CLO transactions for onward submission to the Collateral Manager / Investors as required under the Governing Documents. The Reports need to be generated on a monthly basis and contain information about the health of the underlying collateral through reporting on compliance test results vis- vis their triggers

- Asia Analytics team :- Support Asia GDS Transaction Management Team to validate calculations in draft documents prior to deal closing, assist Asia GDS and SFS CSG team through developing models to monitor various key performance ratios and triggers in loan transactions and waterfall calculations in Bond deals

Responsibilities will include:

- Develop and operationalize an effective operational control system for delivery comprising red flags, escalations, reviews and MIS

- Support new business initiatives and revenue strategies

- Drive a culture of innovation with some tangible measures. Set up innovation projects on efficiency and quality improvements.

- Retain and develop the talent with focus on skill development and gender diversity

- Monitoring day-to-day work activities; Coaching/mentoring Team members; Effectively communicating issues and their problem solving,

- Providing inputs for strategic decisions/initiatives for the group; Implementing decisions supporting Team objectives

- Organizing necessary job related training sessions for the team members.

- Monitoring workload of direct reports and do load balancing as necessary.

- Providing regular feedback to team members on their performance

- Handling interpersonal issues in the team and keeping the team motivated

- Taking up other management responsibilities as needed or assigned

- Take measures to mitigate and control operational risk effectively

- Extend support for projects for process and quality improvements

- Coordinate and liaison with on-site team members

- Represent TAS Analytics group at various meetings and presentations to DBC and Corporate Trust senior management

Skills

- Minimum 15 years' experience in financial analytics and modeling preferably in Structured Finance space

- Proficiency in relational database software including a working knowledge of querying and reporting from SQL Server databases will be an added advantage

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- A quantitative/technical background with good experience with MS Excel and MS Access and preferably databases / a programming language. Coding in VBA/Python skills is good to have

- Desire to work in a fast paced, challenging environment

- Individual with a commitment & motivation for self-development and growth

- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple and often competing projects under tight deadlines and pressure.

- Must project a Customer/Client service focus.

- Responsible for supporting efforts to mitigate and control operational risk.

- Must be organized, focused and possess strong communication and analytical skills.
