Manager - US Taxation - CA/CPA - BFSI

- The successful candidate will be delivering full range of tax services in compliance with laws and regulations within time-frame

Key responsibilities will include :

- Managing the direct tax return process, including review of tax return calculations prepared by the team

- Support the monthly tax accounting process for both operating and elimination entities

- Close interaction with Financial Control, Tax Advisory, Legal Entity Controllers, Risk Management Group, Information Technology Group and Project Management office to service tax reporting requirements

- Lead and coach the team and provide support to junior team members to enhance their knowledge and effectiveness

- Application and documentation of internal tax policies and procedures

- Support process improvement and change management initiatives for Americas' income tax reporting, including an ongoing focus on training, technology use and operational efficiencies.

About you :

- You are an experienced person in international tax accounting and accounting processes with Experience with tax reporting and financial systems as well. Financial accounting skills (knowledge of IFRS or US GAAP) preferred.

We want to hear from you if you have :

- Postgraduate accounting qualification, CA or CPA

- 8-10 years of relevant post qualification experience including 2+ years of people management experience

- Experience with international tax accounting and compliance / statutory reporting, US tax experience preferred (but not essential)

- Good technical tax and accounting knowledge with exposure to financial accounting

- Taxation experiences within a shared services environment or financial services an advantage (but not essential).
