CA required for US Taxation Manager position- Mumbai
Location : Andheri
Work Timing : 7 PM to 4 AM
Core Responsibilities :
- Complete assigned tasks/jobs
- Identify and help solve engagement (job) technical issues, anomalies, non-routine items
- Collaborate and communicate with the client and team members in a professional manner
Essential Functions :
- Receive tax mail from office mailroom and distribute to appropriate tax firm tax professional
- Request New Client Setup via Entities Intranet
- Monitor tax return/projects for Star tracking system
- Create and distribute weekly due dates reports to all Tax Staff (all levels)
- Assist in ongoing maintenance/cleanup of Star tracking system
- Client Data - scan electronic documents into the client-specific documents folder via Sureprep/Virtual Cabinet, obtain and deliver copies of previously filed client tax returns, and return original documents to clients
- Assemble completed tax returns, estimates and extensions and deliver to appropriate personnel, as well as update the Star tracking system
- Coordinate and submit all certified mail for the department
- Prepare mailing of copies of returns, estimated tax payment vouchers to clients
- Transmit returns and extensions electronically
- Manage tax return electronic filing system processes, including verifying e-file was accepted and managing e-file rejections and taking corrective action on rejected files
- Administrator on CCH Tax Axcess
- Administrator on SurePrep
- Administrator on Safe send
- Elevated right to maintain Star tracking, due dates and role assignments
Nonessential Functions :
- Performs other duties as assigned from time to time by Seniors, Managers, or Partners.
