Manager - US Payroll - BFSI

What you'll do:

1. Handle end to end processing US payroll and work with external & internal consultants on employee tax & compliance matters.

2. Use ADP or other payroll processing platform for posting of payroll journal entries. Adhere to US Payroll Compliance & 401k related compliance.

3. Manage Employee Withholding Tax at Both federal and state level along with employee communications relating to US payroll.

4. Work on compensation related reports, coordinate with statutory auditors globally for closing out payroll related audit requests.

5. Handle employee reimbursements for US.

6. Work with the HR team in the US ensuring timely, accurate payroll processing and support them for compensation related requests.

What you'll need:

- The ideal candidate should be a postgraduate or CA/CMA/CPA with 8 to 12 years of experience in US payroll processing, sound technical knowledge of payroll taxes & compliance.

- Must have an end to end working experience of processing US Payroll.

- Should have worked with external & internal consultants on employee tax & compliance matters.

- Should have experience of working on ADP platform and posting of payroll journal entries.

- Understand accounting aspects relating to Payroll.

- A good understanding of US employee tax and with-holding.

- US Payroll Certification is an added advantage.

- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

- Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with senior personnel.
