Manager - Underwriter/Loss Minimization - Marine Insurance

Job Description: Manager / Sr. Manager

- Conducting cargo loss minimization site visit: Typically 1-2 days visit at client facility/warehouse and discussion with the client's management team

- Advise cargo risk improvement for upcoming projects for clients

- Identify root cause analysis for the cargo transit losses

- Carry out claim analysis from the MIS and present to internal team and clients.

- Closely work with marine team/broking team and clients towards projects.

- Develop LRM business and achieve targets. Develop new and expanded business opportunities

- Conduct training and workshops for the internal team and for the clients

- Travel around 70- 90 days in a year ( India and overseas)

Work Experience :

- 3 to 5+ years experience in marine underwriting/claims / marine cargo surveying/cargo loss minimization/logistics company with marine insurance knowledge

- Experience in handling marine claims and marine surveys will be an added advantage

- Work experience in an insurance company/broker / survey firm will be an added advantage
