Reporting Relationships:

The Senior Associate- Banking & Treasury will report directly to the Team Lead-Banking & Treasury

Major Responsibilities

Primary Role responsibilities include Banking activities performed by India including

- Cash and Banking Transaction processing

- Store deposit, Bank, and Credit/Debit reconciliations

- Daily cash receipts/deposits, including accounting

- General ledger entries for cash funding, cash sweeps, miscellaneous deposits and foreign exchange transactions

- Bank reconciliations

- Daily cash reporting

- Reporting related to banking/cash activities (internal and external)

The successful candidate must be a proactive self-starter with a dynamic and resilient nature able to work and lead in a fast-paced environment. He/she will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills in order to engage with stakeholders across the business and provide critical input to business teams. This individual will have a demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously with strict adherence to deadlines.

Professional Qualifications

- Strong financial aptitude with minimum 6-8 years of work experience in Corporate Finance with MNCs/GICs, with preference to Retail industry, focused on Accounting and Financial Reporting functions

- Minimum 5 years supervisory / people management experience

- Experience in Oracle ERP (Oracle Fusion Preferred) and Hyperion Financial Management

- Strong proficiency in Microsoft office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)

- Six Sigma certification or equivalent process improvement methodology required (Black belt preferred)

- Demonstrated expertise in design and implementation of financial processes and technology

- Demonstrated success in Leading and managing teams and directing multi-functional business units

- Strong working experience in General Accounting & Fixed Asset processes

Educational Credentials

B. Comm (Mandatory) or MBA Finance (preferred)

Chartered Accountant

Mandate:

TL for 2-3 Years on papers

Six sigma certification
