Manager - Treasury - Bank

Treasury Manager or Treasury dealer shall manage the overall functions of the Treasury department in the bank. The Treasury dealer(s) shall be responsible for the forecasting of the funds, management of funds in money market, book FOREX rates etc. The treasury dealers shall be based out of headquarters and shall be reporting to the Deputy Managing Director.

Accountabilities : 

- Manage Bank's funds in all currencies

- Forecast fund position based on asset and liability maturity profile.

- Lend, borrow & swap funds in money market to manage asset liability mismatch.

- Invest surplus funds in money markets / bond markets

- Invest surplus funds from deposits in financial markets and generate investment profits.

- Monitor market interest rate trends and make changes to portfolio to manage risks.

- Pricing of deposits & loans

- Price deposit rates for various maturities based on market interest rates.

- Prepare MCLR rates for various tenors for loans based on RBI guidelines for MCLR.

- Book FOREX rates for corporate customers

- Provide corporate clients with forecast on forex rates and market trends.

- Book remittance rates and cover forex position in market to earn profit on forex deals.

- Manage relationship with Banks & other market participants

- Manage relationship with treasury dealers in other Banks to get best rates from them.

- Manage relationship with other market participants like RBI, FEDAI, FIMMDA and CCIL.

- Comply with RBI guidelines & other regulatory rules

- Maintain CRR, SLR and call money limits as prescribed by RBI.

- Adhere to dealer code of conduct & other guidelines issued by regulatory authorities.

Requirements :

- Any Finance Graduate/PG with 8-12 years of experience in banking industry

- An active team person willing to take responsibility.

- Possess excellent coordinating and organizing skills.

- Commitment to quality and results.

- Requires eye-for-detail.

- Excellent interpersonal, communication skill

- Should know English, Hindi & regional language

- Young, energetic, solution oriented and outgoing personality with good aptitude and attitude
