We have a urgent opening with one of the leading MNC in Mumbai for Manager Travel & Expenses.

Reports to: Director Head of Finance (India) & Sr. Manager (Global T&E and CCA)
Principal Responsibilities
1. Work very closely with the Senior Manager, T&E and CCA to drive a consistent and common approach to T&E, CCA across all of global entities.
2. Provide strategic direction and oversight of the global T&E process from Mumbai, India
3. Provide direction and guidance to the T&E associates based in India
4. Overseeing India T&E shared services function to ensure timely booking and payment of T&E claims for org entities globally
5. Implement process to ensure company employees adhere to the Corporate Travel Policy, with standardized process for reporting for non- compliance
6. Responsibility to verify that T&E transactions comply with company policies and procedures
7. Manage employee relationship and maximize the level of customer service to internal stakeholders
8. Handle employee T&E payment enquiries
9. Refine policies as required and supervise all accounting tasks that are involved in the T&E payment process
10. Proactively work towards increasing internal controls and process efficiencies
11. Implement regular (weekly, monthly, annual) reporting related to T&E in order to support procurement and finance teams
12. Identify and report on key metrics and KPIs for expense reporting and credit card administration
13. Identify, report, track, and resolve issues and offer suggestions for system/process improvement
14. Establish and manage travel expense help desk support and procedures
15. Ensure clear and updated communications with all departments regarding T&E policies and procedures
16. Support implementation of integrated work- flow based T&E platform and other technology & automation initiatives
17. Develop and maintain SOP's with appropriate communication to ensure employees understand the standardized process
18. Support statutory audit and coordinate the audit process for T&E areas
19. Recommend, implement and maintain process improvements using robust continuous improvement principles such as Lean and Six Sigma
Qualifications
Work Experience
- 8 - 10 years of experience in travel expense management practices
- 5 - 7 years of experience as a team lead in managing people
- Experience in an international environment
- Strong project management skills
- Concur Experience a must
- SAP Experience a must
- Experience in Shared Service Environment a must
- Demonstrated experience within a high volume business at operational level
- Knowledge of US GAAP, SOX Compliances
Education
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Accounting
- MBA Finance preferred

- Cognos Reporting
- Strong Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Access skills
- Strong communication skills with superior ability to express thoughts clearly in English
