Job Description

The Cash & Trade Proc Sr Supv is an intermediate level role responsible for ensuring transactions are processed accurately and on time in coordination with the Transaction Services team. The overall objective is to use technical expertise and comprehension of how the team integrates with others in improving efficiencies, completing deliverables efficiently, and accomplishing overall objectives of cash management strategies. This is Team Management role in Transfer Agency.

Responsibilities:

- Processing of Financial & Non-Financial transactions through internal systems as per regulatory and client requirement

- Complete archiving of investor and client documentation ensuring a full audit trail exists for subsequent retrieval

- Review procedures to ensure efficiency running of day-to-day operations.

- Manage team's BAU tasks to successfully meet set deadlines, adhere to monthly team schedule and assisting other team members when required.

- Ensure that all the requirements are competed on a timely basis with the highest level of accuracy and delays and issues are timely escalated.

- Maintain appropriate control procedures for gathering, analysing and disclosing all operations related activities

- Partner with Performance teams globally to present a consistent client experience catalysing a common culture.

- Manage team workload; determine appropriate priorities and provide timely and accurate distribution of standard and custom reports.

- Understand flow of information and data between various groups and systems.

- Support and complete various efficiency and capacity-building initiatives, including automation/ standardization efforts.

- Participate in cross training efforts on all Performance Ops functions.

- Provide full transparency around service level requirements with both internal constituents.

- Understand and promote appropriate operating controls across the business.

- Train, mentor and develop a highly qualified and motivated team.

- Identify Employee/Training needs to efficiently manage pipeline; monitor requirements against actual while proactively engaging stakeholders to facilitate hiring and training requirements

- Client Focus: Set the tone from the top by promoting client focus throughout strategy, communications and client engagement. Ensure client focus in built into TA Operations culture.

- Performance Management: Comply with HR performance processes by setting objectives for all direct reports and conducting mid/full year performance reviews

- People development: Ensure to take active roles in the development of people, attracting, retaining and developing talent. Build capability, robust succession plans, talent management and improve working environment. Encourage mobility across functions and geographies

- Leadership: Set the tone from the top, be a visible leader, foster a partnership approach to success, and create an environment which empowers and motivates employees. Engender a culture which puts customers and people at the heart of the business and promotes good risk management

Resource Management: Ensure to take accountability for deployment and planning of people resource across the business

Qualifications:

- 8-9 years' experience in International Bank/Financial institution with at least 5 years in Transfer Agency in a Managerial capacity

- Sound knowledge in Transfer Agency domain with good exposure to Indexing, Dealing & Registration and payments settlements.

- Hands-on experience on TA Applications such as GTAS (Global Transfer Agency System), TLM, Babel & any payment gateway system is an added advantage.

- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.

- Strong communication skills - both oral and written; ability to communicate effectively with senior management, clients and external Providers.

- Successful leadership skills and experience managing teams, including integrating and executing processes and controls across multiple locations.

- Flair for continuous improvement in operations, digitization and increase in straight though processing.

Education:

- Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience
