Job Description - Training Manager

About Magic Billion

We set up Magic Billion (www.magicbillion.in) - a global talent management company - with the objective of supporting global businesses with their talent needs by providing targeted and skilled talent from India (across the spectrum from blue to white collar jobs). Currently operating in 10 countries and sent 1800 people abroad.

Roles and Responsibilities - these are only indicative :

1. Candidate engagement for their training including the MIS associated with the training.

2. Training management :

- The Manager will need to understand the skill gap for the Program, through study of various International qualifications and standards, as laid down for various Job Roles in the Program, and evolve skill gaps with mapping these International qualifications with Indian Standards.

- They would then design skilling interventions, and be responsible for entire training operations.

- S/he would be responsible to ensure all candidates clear the International Skill Assessment as prescribed for the Program.

3. Manage the administration of Training Centre and Trainers.

4. Being a startup, there will be many other areas of work; the Associate is expected to work collaboratively with the Founders on identified business needs.

Essential Skills :

- Candidates should have at least 10 years of work experience in Training & Development

- Problem solver and go-getter attitude

- Sound background and understanding of Training Design and Interventions, and Training Management

- Strong communication skills - both written and verbal - and ability to nurture relationships; ability to work in remote settings (the GPM will also report to the Co-Founder who is London based)

- Detail oriented - focus on diligence, time management and quality of work

- Good understanding of MS Office tools
