Job Profile: Job Title: Manager - Training &amp; Development, India Job Summary : This role will work with Vice President, L&amp; D Asia Pacific to assess, design, develop, implement and evaluate all of training programs in Company, India to ensure that training initiatives aligned with the business and human resources strategy. Focus would be largely on training Sales and Marketing personnel. The selected candid ate would be required to train people in other countries in Asia Pacific as and when the need arises. Key responsibilities:&nbsp; Section I: Training Strategy :&nbsp; Works with Vice President, L&amp;D Asia Pacific on defining and implementing training strategies to support India and other countries thus ensuring aggressive business growth Participates in building up a strong learning culture in the organization Section I I : Sales Training :&nbsp; - Defines the annual cross divisional and franchise specific sales training plan based on needs - assessment aiming to provide strategy development and executable tactics to strengthen and accelerate sales effectiveness - Shapes solutions that will strengthen the knowledge, skills, performance and attitude of new and existing field sales personnel including sales force, sales management and Field Sales Trainers. Serves as a contact person to develop divisional Sales Training initiatives by linking with Field Sales Trainers and any other internal trainers in the Company. - Drive best practices throughout the sales organization to ensure consistent, high quality and repeatable performance, including on - boarding, training and manager development - Travel and conduct sales training programs in India and other Asian countries when needed. - Be as a mentor/coach with the identified Field Sales Trainers Section I II :&nbsp; - Non - sales Training including Soft Skill, Management Skill, Leadership Development - Works with and Vice President, L&amp;D Asia Pacific and HR teams to shape annual training plan aligning with business needs and people strategy - Fully implements annual training programs and evaluates each training program - Focuses on post - training follow - up and ROIs assessment - Should be able to conduct programs at lea st at the level of middle level managers Section I V : General :&nbsp; - Manages eLearning system and actively provides inputs for continuous improvement - Setup an effective training evaluation process and system - Establishes and supports a work environment of continuous improvement that supports - Companies Quality Policy, Quality System and the appropriate regulations for the area supported. Conducts business in full compliance with Company internal compliance policy Required Key Competencies: - Strong Business Acumen to translate business needs into L&amp;D initiatives - Collaboration and Influencing Skills to promote a strong learning culture by working closely, HR team, Business leaders and others. Solid Facilitation Skill as a trainer - Strong Communication Skill to coordinate key initiatives across the organization and communicate the training programs to employees effectively Ideal Candidates Profile: - Must have worked in sales at least at the second level of management.( ie managing managers) . - Medical Device/Health care experience highly preferred - At least 10 years of experience in training / L&amp;D /OD - Should be actively involved in conducting training programs personally - Good command of English - Certification in well - known training modules ( Example : Selling S kills module, EQ, Leadership ) would be an advantage - Should be willing to travel within India and overseas if required Reporting Line: - Reporting to the Vice President L&amp;D, Asia Pacific&nbsp;
