Trade Operation Manager ( Export/ Logistic - Documentation ) - Kolkata

ISSUE OF SALE CONTRACT :

- Ensure all sale/purchase contracts lined up

L/C OPENING :

- To ensure all LC's to be open / receive on time, troubleshoot if any problem comes (co-ordinate buyer / supplier / trader)

FOLLOW UP :

- Loading plan for all products and ensure timely loadings within contractual terms

- Shipment Plan for upcoming two weeks

DELEGATION OF WORK :

- Delegation of work in the morning to team and ensure smooth work without failure

PREPARATION OF EXPORT DOCUMENTS AND ENSURE CLEAR NEGOTIATIONS :

ALL PRODUCTS : L/C & DP SIGHT, DA/DIRECT

- Ensue sale/purchase invoices to be given to accounts immediately after shipment

- Review of team daily report and troubleshooting

FOLLOWUP WITH BANKS & Counterparties :

- FOR BILL DISCOUNTING OF NEGOTIATED DOCUMENTS

- CLEAR OF DESCREPANCIES RECEIVED FROM BANK FOR EXPORT DOCUMENTS

- Import L/C Issuance & Ammendments

- Follow Up And Checking Of Verdandi & Dmcc Remitance Inward/Outward

- Follow Up With The Shipping Lines To Get The Bl- S Swiftly And Troubleshooting If Any.

- Follow Up With Maersk Line For Timely Submission Of The Loan Documents And Conversion.

- Follow Up With Maersk Line For Timely Release Of Bl And Repayment Planning With Finance Team.


PAYMENTS & ACCOUNTS :

- To ensure payments / acceptance of Export Bill negotiated

- Review outstanding's of Debtor / Creditors of all products and give liquidation plan to accounts

- Review cash flow for two weeks for related products

MAINTAIN MIS :

- Pending Document Reports to be discussed with management on weekly

- Discuss every day with traders for open/short positions of all products

FILLING :

- Ensure that P drive has all the Sales & Purchase Contracts

- Ensure all sale purchase to given for filing to admin dept for proper recording.

IMPORTANT ISSUES TO COORDINATION :

- No Demurrage - If any must recover from the party who made error resulting into demurrage

- Quality Issue - Must coordinate with supplier / branches and see all issues are settled quickly without loss to us.

INSURANCE :

- Oversee insurance activities of all products and ensure all policies taken from insurer
