Project: BASEL/Risk Weighted Asset (RWA) Testing

Location : Chennai

Skill Set:

Graduate/Post Graduate with 6+ years of relevant experience in software testing and defect management tools(Quality Center).

Exposure to Big Data projects in an Agile environment will be a plus.

Good Functional Experience in BASEL II Reporting requirements and BASEL II System teams and relating technologies.

Candidates having Knowledge/ Experience in Key Technology components (Moody's RiskAuthority, Hadoop, and Platfora) will be preferred.

Excellent MS Excel / Access skills.

Must be able to produce high quality documentation and has previously served as a liaison to user communities and management teams.

Good communication skills.

Project certification and experience in working under Agile environment.

Testing certification(s) (Certified Software Tester (CSTE), Certified Software Testing Professional (CSTP), ISTQB Certified Tester etc.)

Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) or Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) Certification.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Testing of Proposed solution for RWA Production Centre against specified benchmarks within the project timelines and quality standards in order to deliver a defect free solution to the business.

The Role is expected to be responsible for carrying out the testing for :

1. Validating the inputs,

2. Ensuring the correctness of internal RWA Calculations

3. Validating format and quality of Output Data

4. Validating functionalities of User tools

Acquire an in-depth understanding of the input data quality requirements.

Acquire an in-depth understanding of the RWA Calculation Engine & output requirements.

Apply the understanding to develop robust testing materials.

Analyze requirements and conditions and prepare Test Scenarios & Scripts.

Perform testing analysis to ensure that all business requirements are met and suitable test processes are in place to verify and validate them.

Identify the test coverage of the scripts and prioritize them understanding the business impact.

Execute test scripts with proper entry and exit criteria and report the actual results/ defects ensure a quality product.

Leverage, maintain and administer defect management tools in an efficient and effective manner.

Actively and significantly support members of the management team and project stakeholders in the Functional Testing process.

Actively and significantly support in creation and implementation of Test Strategy, Test stage plans and Test Sign-off reports.
