JOB SUMMARY:

Delivering a full range of tax services in compliance with laws and regulations within timeframe

GENERAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Taxation

- Manages entire Tax compliance for Direct & Indirect Taxes

- Responsible for preparation and submission tax returns, tax declarations, and other required report

- Maintaining tax records; and communicating with external tax agencies or consultants

- Handling of Transfer Pricing/Tax Audit compliances and tax positions

- Handling of Corporate Tax Returns & Scrutiny Assessments

- Respond to Tax Notices, escalated enquiries

- Liaisoning with consultants and regular follow up for taking updates on pending issues with statutory authorities

- GST subject matter expertise, reconciliations and return filing

- Timely Payment of direct & indirect taxes

- Filing of TDS returns and addressing 26 AS related queries of vendors

- Preparation of monthly MIS around tax matters and flag off the critical matters

- Corporate reporting related to Tax GLs

- Ensure and drive strict adherence to corporate taxation policies

- Preparation of Audit Schedules related to taxation

- Integrate with different business functions and resolve their tax related queries

- Suggest and implement automation projects

- Adhering to Internal controls - SOX and FABAC

- Develops, implements, and maintain systems, procedures, and policies.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

- CA/CMA in Finance/Taxation

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

- 5 to 7 Years of domain experience

GENERAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

- Requires strong management skills

- Requires general business skills, industry knowledge

- Requires extensive knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and their application in a large, diverse organization

- Ability to identify, address and resolve employee related issues

- Strong analytical, statistical, and problem solving skills

- Ability to utilize judgment in decision making process and decisions related to job tasks

- Ability to meet tight deadlines

- Excellent skills in communicating ideas both verbally and in written form in a clear, concise and professional manner including presentations

- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management in an organized, professional manner

- Skill in productivity, planning, and workload management
