Manager - Taxation - Food & Beverages Business

Our client, a D2C F&B Brand is looking for a Manager- Taxation for their team. The ideal candidate will have to plan and strategies effective taxes. Looking for folks with good hold on GST and filing.

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Formulate annual tax planning and structuring strategies to minimize effective taxes to be paid

- Manage tax operations to ensure timely filing of tax returns and accurate tax accounting

- Hands on experience with GST Compliances (GSTR1, GSTR3B, GSTR-9, GSTR-9C, ITC-04)

- Monthly GSTR2A/GSTR2B Reconciliation and ensuring restrictions on payment to non-compliant vendors

- Take complete ownership of all GST Notices and Audits, including interacting with the department and concerned consultants.

- Ensure compliance with applicable indirect tax laws and regulations to mitigate potential legal risks and develop SOPs to ensure holistic tax compliance.

- Prepare MIS reports and manage credit registers and assessment-related data for timely reporting and effective decision-making.

- Keep abreast of the latest national and regional taxation rules and regulations for driving effective tax planning and compliance and communicating to the team promptly.

Additional Skills :

- Chartered Accountant with 4-9 years of experience managing finance & accounts in a corporate environment

- Strong analytical skills for making quick & effective decisions

- Good communication skills in order to effectively liaise with different stakeholders & business leaders

- Candidate from an F&B background is preferable

- Experience of Oracle NetSuite is an added plus
