Job Title: Manager- Taxation (Direct Taxation)

Based in (location) : Mumbai

Overall purpose of job :

Tasks and Responsibilities:

- Advising internal stakeholders on withholding tax obligations on domestic and international payments and ensuring necessary compliance in respect of Form 15CA & 15CB on international payments.

- Monthly and quarterly Tax provisioning under I GAAP & US GAAP.

- Quarterly TDS return filing

- Income Tax / Wealth Tax returns and compliances

- Data Compilation for Transfer Pricing Audit and handling Transfer Pricing Assessments.

- Preparing necessary documentation for IT assessments/appeals and representation before Regulatory and appellate authorities.

- Representation before ITAT/ CIT (A) along with consultants and preparation of necessary paper books for the same.

- Data compilation for Tax Audit and closure of the same with Tax Auditors

- Knowledge management in respect of recent amendments, circulars and tax incentives available under Income Tax Act.

- Working knowledge of service tax laws would be added advantage.

- Willingness to work under competitive environment and ability to handle timelines.

Education, qualifications, special training, experience and skills

- A Chartered accountant with minimum 4-5 years of post-qualification experience in the field of taxation (can be Nov 2010/ May 11 attempt CA) and should have cleared CA exam in Maximum 2 attempts.

- Should be conversant with leading accounting packages such as SAP, ERP etc.
