Manager - Taxation Overview We are a fast-growing seed-funded startup currently in stealth mode We are an D2C ecommerce aggregator - - This is a unique platform where a financial professional will get a flavor of Analytics, business and rapid acquisitions and build the organization from the ground up. With the initial aim to outsource transaction work, this position has an opportunity to work on structures, process, and M&amp;A. - Leadership Team: It consists of well-established professionals from Bain, McKinsey; Hotstar.- Location: Gurugram Role: Will be part of the finance team reporting into the Finance Controller. The Manager - Taxation will ensure full compliance of Direct and Indirect Tax provisions and will: - Ensure timely and correctly computation and payment of Direct and Indirect Taxes on a periodical basis and filing of relevant returns. - Coordinate Audits, Assessments and Litigation Management with external consultants. - Actively seeks out information / data from cross functional teams and reconciliation of Revenue, Purchase, Output GST &amp; Input GST with Financials Preparing and providing schedules to Statutory Auditors and Accounting team. - Advise various stakeholders and business partners on various business initiatives and tax optimization. - Update latest development &amp; changes in GST Act with appropriate departments and implementation of such changes within organization - Strategize and implement Tax integration framework for all group entities to a centralized tax framework. - Plan and organizing for the execution of a variety transfer pricing engagements and defend transfer pricings in audit and prepare documentation. - Enhance technical skills by remaining up-to-date on trends, new legislative developments and tax authority decisions, and apply them to complex situations relevant to the business Background &amp; Experience: - Chartered Accountant with 3 to 4 years of experience in Taxation. - Candidates with experience in working with Big 4, Internet, or E-Commerce businesses will be preferred. - Excellent relationship management skills with ability to deal effectively with all levels of management. - Quick learner with the ability to identify and drive changes to get more efficient and accurate. - Strong logical and analytical skills.
