Position : Manager - Taxation

Location : Chennai

Qualification : C.A.

Proficiency : MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point), Outlook & Visio

Experience : Minimum 5 years of experience in Taxation. Added advantage if associated with an NBFC / BFSI.

Key Responsibilities:

- Computation of Tax Liability, Filing of Returns both under existing Direct and Indirect Tax Laws

- Handling inspections for Income Tax, GST etc.

- Preparation of replies to the notices from the department and handling of the audit and appeals

- Review Legal contracts with clients from tax point of view

- Being abreast of Various case laws, RBI Guidelines and Statutory changes

- To Review and assist in timely finalization of various tax payments and returns

- Liasoning with the Departmental Officers on an, as and when required basis

- Interaction with Accounts and other teams on tax-related matters

- Ensuring minimum statutory audits queries & irregularities pointed by internal audit

Requirements:

- Chartered Accountant with 5 years of experience in Taxation

- A good understanding and knowledge of Direct & Indirect Taxes, GST laws, VAT, Income tax and other critical Taxes

- Ability to work well with other departments within the company required

- Basic computer skills, including Windows-based applications such as Word, Excel,PowerPoint and Visio

- Excellent communication skills, both Verbal and Written
