Job Purpose:
The role plays a critical role in an organization's human resources and talent strategy. This position is responsible for overseeing all aspects of talent development and retention to ensure that the organization has the right people with the right skills to achieve its goals. It also focusses on Organizational development and effectiveness along with all the Policy formation and updations.
Principal Accountabilities:
- Develop and executive effective talent attraction strategies to attract top talent.
- Identify training and development needs across the organization.
- Design and implement talent development programs, including leadership development, skill-building,and succession planning.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of development initiatives.
- Establish and maintain a performance management system that aligns with organizational objectives.
- Provide guidance on setting performance goals and regularly evaluate employee performance.
- Address performance issues and offer coaching or development plans when needed.
- Develop and maintain a succession planning strategy to ensure a pipeline of future leaders and key talent.
- Identify high-potential employees and provide opportunities for growth and advancement.
- Work with senior leadership to ensure a seamless transition of talent into critical roles.
- Create and implement employee engagement initiatives to enhance workplace satisfaction.
- Analyse and address factors contributing to turnover and implement retention strategies.
- Drive initiatives to foster a positive and inclusive work culture, promoting employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention through effective communication, feedback mechanisms, and recognition programs.
- Use data and metrics to assess the impact of talent management efforts.
- Provide regular reports and insights to senior leadership to inform decision-making.
- Adjust strategies based on data-driven insights.
- Stay up-to-date with labor laws and regulations to ensure all talent management practices are in compliance.
- Manage legal and ethical issues related to talent management, such as diversity and inclusion, discrimination, and harassment.
- Collaborate with marketing and communication teams to enhance the employer brand, ensuring that the organization is positioned as an employer of choice in the industry.
- Design and implement Leadership Learning programs, Annual Employee survey - MCARES
Functional Competencies:
- Strategic orientation with good world view, Self-starter and result oriented individual.
- Very good on execution and closure of programs
- Executive presence, stakeholder management - to be able to convince the Sr. Management
- Being able to challenge the status quo and come up with improvements and best practices.
- Program management skills
Qualification and Experience:
- MBA from top B schools (preferably NMIMS, MDI Gurgaon, GIM, XIMB) with 4-5 years of experience (2018-19 passout) in core Talent management and organizational development domain.
