Position Title: Manager - Talent Acquisition
Work Location: Vadodara (Baroda)
Reports to: Head – Talent Acquisition
Exp: 10 to 12 years of TA experience in the engineering services industry – especially, Process/Plant Engg.
Handle a team, and deal with stakeholder.
Purpose:
- To lead and manage the Talent Acquisition Team for a set of business units and to fulfill the lateral Open Position requirements there in a timely manner.
- Also will handle end-to-end hiring of all middle-senior level open positions independently.
Responsibilities:
- Handle independently end-to-end lateral Talent Acquisition requirements for a set of business units in a location/region.
- Develop and implement the strategic hiring plans (monthly) to meet business needs of all Open and Potential positions in a time bound manner.
- Develop, review with Head – Talent Acquisition and monitor the implementation of sourcing plan to attract applicants and to fill all Open Positions.
- Facilitate Open Position requirements’ understanding to the team members by the hiring manager/s to develop a thorough understanding of the requirements and enable the team members to source effectively suitable candidate profiles.
- Measure individual team performance against pre-set target, evaluates alternate course of action to increase throughput.
- Build; maintain industry / skill specific market intelligence for target-based hiring.
- Verify all-level salary fitment; measure the offer to joiner ratio for the managed Business Vertical/Horizontal Business Group or a location/region.
- Train and manage the activities of the team members to ensure compliance with pre-agreed SLA’s for Talent Acquisition function.
- Monitor and track the candidate pipeline and ensure it is adequate to meet the Open Position requirements.
- Source, interview middle-senior level candidates to assess their suitability for employment and growth within the organization.
- Generate weekly MIS reports for the managed business units for progress update and participate in the periodic review with the business.
- Generate monthly MIS on the hiring status – monthly hiring plan update, team members’ performance, sourcing effectiveness and offer to joiner ratio – and review with Head – Talent Acquisition & Head – HR.
- Ensure compliance to all company policies and other regulatory requirements.
Employment & Education Requirements:
- 10-12 years’ experience in end-to-end Talent Acquisition function in engineering services industry – especially, Process/Plant Engg.
- Hands-on experience in full recruiting lifecycle components including forecasting, planning, sourcing, qualifying, assessing, salary negotiation, relationship management, and reference checks.
- Should have led recruiting teams of 3-6 members for at least 2 yrs., and have handled medium to high volume hiring numbers.
- Must be Internet savvy and experienced in mining search engines like Google, yahoo, etc.
- Strong initiative and solid judgment abilities/skills.
- Should have clear & persuasive communication skills.
- Must have the ability to quickly learn systems, processes, & procedures.
- Should be an engineering graduate / MBA.
