Manager - Surveillance - BFSI

1. Scrip monitoring and generation of alerts

- Oversee the process of monitoring variations/ movements of scrip of different companies on an on-going basis through surveillance system to identify any significant changes in price/ trade volume of the scrip.

- Review the alerts generated on a daily basis and follow up on the actions taken thereafter.

- Collect feedback from investigation team on an on-going basis on the alerts generated by team.

2. Surveillance measures

- Oversee and verify all processes with respect to surveillance actions i.e. price band changes, trade for trade segment transfers, rumour verification, etc.

- Draft circulars related to surveillance actions.

- Keep self updated on the recent developments on scrip of various companies.

3. MIS & Reporting

- Verify the critical data/reports before sending it to regulators and senior management

- Coordinate with SEBI to resolve issues/queries regarding data provided for Integrated Market Surveillance System

4. System developments and policy changes

- Identify areas of improvement and development of the surveillance system (in coordination with IT team) and recommend necessary modifications.

- Review and propose policy changes in line with regulatory changes implemented by SEBI.

Role Requirements:

- Knowledge of financial and capital markets

- Knowledge of statutory requirements applicable to the financial markets

Experience:

Essential - 8- 10 years of experience

Desired - Relevant experience in financial services/exchange
