JOB SUMMARY:

- Collaborate with Demand Planning & Sales to understand critical areas of variability to the product mix

- Establish as the supply planning subject matter expert and leverage the Supply Chain characteristics (lead production timelines, MOQs, additional inventory locations, safety stock, cut-off times, etc).

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES / TASKS:

- Identify and resolve capacity shortfalls either with downstream demand collaboration or upstream supplier schedule changes

- Meet regularly with sales & Demand Planner to discuss key in-stock and inventory issues, focus areas for the week and extended timeframes

- Work closely with business demand planners to ensure proper stock levels and allocation for fashion, new core +, front-end sales or 'promotional' items

- Run the monthly plant specific Supply Reviews and contribute to the consolidated Hub input to IBP reviews to agree upon effective capacity plans that balance customer service, supply cost and inventory targets ensuring that all derailing issues are effectively framed and escalated to the relevant forum for resolution

- Ensure product continuity of supply for all materials that fall under their assigned portfolio of products

- Collaborate closely with the manufacturing sites by monitoring available capacity, monitoring, and managing component availability to ensure that supply plans can be fulfilled, and proactively working to mitigate and resolve any product supply and/or customer service issues

- Manage inventory levels and the deployment of finished goods according to customer demands and company objectives

- Advise management and appropriate internal teams of the current and future status of product supply for existing products for future launches

- Develop capacity-feasible supply plans and provide to the manufacturing sites on a prescribed schedule

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Experience in planning for manufactured products

- Demonstrates skills in analyzing, planning, judgment and decision making

- Ability to work remotely as both an individual contributor and in a team environment

- Minimum 5+ years' work experience in Supply Planning

- Graduation in Engineering/ Graduation in Commerce / Master's in Supply Chain or Demand Planning

- Strong communication & Interpersonal skills as role requires interdepartmental interactions (ie: with Sales, Marketing, Manufacturing etc.)
