Manager - Supply Chain Management - Vendor Development - Mfg/Auto

We are looking for a talented Supply Chain & Procurement professional to support the business growth of our Client in domestic and international markets.

You shall Purchase direct materials for engineering proto/ Alpha/Beta Build for Design /Project team/Production and ensure on-time deliveries of the materials.

You are required to analyze material requisition plan and open purchase order for the parts needed on the quantity needed therein.

You will learn quickly and adapt to changes.

Job Requirement

Analyse all suppliers in order to select the most suitable suppliers who are able to deliver high quality products at competitive pricing.

Negotiate with suppliers on lead-time, cost and quality so as to obtain the maximum benefit for the company.

Manage suppliers to meet objectives related to cost, delivery performance, schedule and quality.

Define and maintain documented category and supplier strategies using market and competitive data.

Liaise with suppliers on delivery schedule so as to ensure on-time deliveries of final product.

Develop, implement and drive the procurement strategies in order to meet cost savings targets.

Review and manage the supplier base to ensure consistency with the sourcing strategy.

Perform regular performance review with suppliers to drive continuous improvements.

Create monthly performance reviews and reports focusing on overall sourcing requirements.

Ensure commercial, legal and contractual compliance's in all the procurement transactions.

We would like you to have:

Graduation in Electrical or Electronics / Mechanical with 4 years of SCM & Procurement experience, preferably from premier colleges.

Familiarity with ERP systems like Oracle, SAP

Comfort with PO creation, Logistics, Import and Export

Familiarity with Customs Duty and EOU /STPI and GRN preparation

Ability and Willingness to get hands dirty, and get into Operations to ensure quality, time lines & cost-effectiveness

Should enjoy negotiations & regular follow-ups with vendors to get work done

Proficiency in Hindi and English languages would be necessary to perform your job best
