Supply Chain Manager

ROLE OBJECTIVE:

Incumbent will be responsible for leading the Supply chain solutions team and being the single point of contact for all stakeholders (internal & external). In his or her daily responsibilities the incumbent manages multiple Supply Chain processes, ensures smooth transitioning of new projects (tasks, E2E roles, etc.), guides the team towards continuous improvement, ensures coaching and people development and provides an extraordinary customer experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Actively lead the Supply Chain team by ensuring workload balancing, skill availability, coaching and continuous people and talent development

- Ensure resources, capabilities and capacity to meet both existing and new business demand.

- Maintain and/or develop a very strong stakeholder relationship and excellent collaboration with Supply Chain leaders in the different regions

- Identify and drive continuous improvement processes following LEAN standards and strong cost awareness

- Ensure team gets full transparency and understanding of role and task

- Leading & enabling the team in Lean initiatives and achievement of objectives

- Define delivery and engagement model for all new business teams

- Identify process "pain points" or disconnects and translate them into process improvement opportunities, such as cost savings, cost avoidance, productivity gains, quality improvements or revenue generation

- Ensuring team structures and responsibilities align with organization objectives

- Support and guide team on various Supply Chain design projects across regions

- Ensure frequent leadership update on agreed measures

- Develop a strong talent pool including a 2-layer succession plan for all critical roles

- Identifying training needs, proposing, and designing training as per team requirements

- Full responsibility on resource planning incl. interview process, onboarding, .

- Establish an active performance review process incl. regular feedbacks, development plans

- Actively checking for additional growth potential with stakeholders

EDUCATION/KNOWLEDGE:

- Bachelor or Master's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration or related field from a Tier-1 college (like IIMs/ IITs/ NITs/ Nittie/ SP Jain, etc.)

- Knowledge in SAP, MS Office, Access, SharePoint

- SCM certification from APICS (added advantage)

- Very deep knowledge on Supply Chain Management

- Very strong leadership skills

- Fluent English language skills - written and spoken.

- Very high customer and service orientation required.

- Strong analytical ability to translate data into actionable information.

- Ability to quickly adapt to new requirements (change Management)

- Ability to work in an intercultural and international team.

- Willingness to constantly learn also complex processes and scenarios.

- Knowledge on Six Sigma tools and Kaizen (Added advantage)

CRITICAL EXPERIENCE

- Minimum 8-10 years direct experience in Supply Chain & Logistics e.g., Supply chain design, logistics, control tower or Operations

- Experience in leading larger Supply Chain Management teams
