Manager - Supply Chain - Apparel/Fashion Retail

We are looking for Supply Chain Manager for one of retail (Apparel/Fashion) company based in Mumbai.

- Specialization in Warehouse/DC operations & Logistics Management

Job Description :

- Plan, direct, and monitor finished goods stock at warehouse and logistics activities to ensure a cost-effective and timely flow of merchandise from warehouse to customers

Key Responsibilities :

- Responsible for optimizing the administration of logistics management functions

- Responsible for inventory control, warehousing, transportation & distribution

- Focus on continuous improvement to achieve service, efficiency and profitability of supply chain function.

- Develop operational efficiency in support of the company's future growth.

- Evaluate current processes including productivity, inventory, staffing and workflow.

- Establish and improve warehouse operations through the use of best practices.

- Develop,implement and manage various programs, which enhance team building and management development. Practice motivational management methods that instill partnership, ownership, and a pro-active management approach, when conducting the many operational facets of the business.

- Develop the management talent within operations to achieve efficiency and meet talent demand for future growth.

- Directly plan, forecast, monitor and control direct budgets and capital expenditures.

- Provide aggressive and effective management of the distribution center profit and loss statement by overseeing monthly and quarterly assessments and forecast of organization's financial performance against budget, financial and operational goals.

- Ensure smooth coordination of warehouse activities with both retail merchandiser as well as retail operations team to facilitate timely delivery of goods.

- Supervise refinishing process and management of defectives through returns manager.
