Manager - Strategy & Research - Consulting Firm - IIT/NIT/BITS/NLU/IIM/ISB/TISS

We are currently working on our client which is one of the leading Consultancy organisation working closely with leading political parties and governments in strategizing, ideating and implementing large scale political campaigns and initiatives

We seek to revolutionize the way political campaigns are run in the country through the usage of cutting edge technology, data analytics, new age media, research and implementation of modern corporate governance practices in the running of party cadres

We are a young and enthusiastic team, which aims to build the best political consultancy firm in the world. Members of the team are from top educational and professional institutions of the country (e.g. IIT, ISB, IIM, etc.) and have been handling political campaigns at national and state level since past 3 years

About the role: Strategic Manager

As a Strategic Manager, you will be working closely with the senior management to strategize and ideate long term and short term initiatives for our clients and then work with the stakeholders in the party/government to get them implemented. The role is similar to those in a general management consultancy firm. Specifically, here are some of the day-to-day responsibilities that you will handle:

- Head, primary and secondary research to understand the recent situation in the geographies where our clients operate

- Strategize and ideate long term and short term action plan for the clients, along with the senior management

- Create project plans, milestones, timelines, resource requirements etc. for project implementation

- Head a team comprising of associate program managers and functional experts to ensure timely execution of projects

- Showcase pro-active stakeholder management to ensure long-term relationship of the firm with our clients at the state and national level

In terms of educational background, skills and experience, we expect that:

- You are an undergraduate/postgraduate from a premier institute (IIT, NIT, DU, BITS, NLU, IIM, ISB, TISS, etc.)

- You have 3-8 years of experience in the field of general management, operations, sales, analytics etc.

- You are comfortable working with Microsoft office tools like MS-Excel, MS-Word, Power-point
