Responsibility:

Area Key Activities :

Business Planning:

- To make the annual operating plan and the long range plan for the asset being managed by factoring in timelines, including approvals, launch, and construction, market sentiment in terms of pricing with aim of efficient cash flow management and preserving the business plan envisaged

- Scenario analysis for optimising the business plan

- Determine the key performance indicators for the project for the year and periodic milestones/ KPIs to be achieved by businesses

Asset Management :

- Facilitating periodic management reviews

- Timeline management, deliverables management & raising risk flags at appropriate milestones

- To formulate the business plans for new projects and ensure adherence to key financial objectives of PBT, NPV, IRR etc. over the life cycle and during specific periods

- Undertake periodic review of the health of assets to ensure that risks are flagged upfront and mitigation plans can be put into place

- Explore avenues of improving returns from projects through analysis of the competition, pricing, sales velocities, project design and costing, cash flow management, financing, and other levers

- Deep dive into specific problem areas to propose corrective measures through superior problem structuring and analytics

Risk Management:

- Flagging & resolving risks to project returns during PCP & UC stage

- To evaluate and provide mitigation mechanism

- Proactively highlighting critical risks and proposing recommendation/options to the management for way forward.

Strategic Initiatives :

- Identify and address gaps in business process and ensure their effective implementation across the organization.

- Prepare Business Analysis & Scenarios

- Identifying regional growth strategy drivers and preparing a roadmap to execute the growth plan

- Work with Functional Heads on key strategic assignments for developing long term capability within the organization. Examples of such assignments are sales acceleration, reducing time to launch, new product development, entry strategy for new micro-markets etc.

- Process Adherence & Improvement - Identifies processes/procedures in own work area that need improvement
