Job Summary:

As a Strategy Consultant specializing in Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG), Retail, E-commerce, and Modern Trade, your primary responsibility is to provide strategic guidance and advisory services to clients operating in these industries. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior executives to develop and implement effective business strategies, drive growth, enhance operational efficiency, and improve overall performance. Your expertise will contribute to shaping the future direction of businesses in the rapidly evolving CPG, retail, e-commerce, and modern trade sectors.

Key Responsibilities -

Client Engagement:

- Conduct in-depth analysis of the client's business operations, market dynamics, competitive landscape, and consumer trends.

- Identify strategic opportunities and challenges, and propose innovative solutions to drive business growth and profitability.

- Collaborate with clients to understand their objectives, align strategies, and ensure effective implementation.

Strategic Planning:

- Develop comprehensive strategic plans that align with the client's long-term goals and market realities.

- Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and feasibility studies to identify emerging trends, market gaps, and potential expansion opportunities.

- Identify and assess risks associated with strategic initiatives and develop risk mitigation strategies.

Business Transformation:

- Provide recommendations and guidance to clients on business process improvements, organizational restructuring, and operational enhancements.

- Develop and implement initiatives to enhance customer experience, optimize the supply chain, improve distribution networks, and streamline operations.

- Advise clients on adopting digital transformation strategies, including e-commerce integration, data analytics, and technology solutions.

Performance Monitoring and Evaluation:

- Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness and impact of implemented strategies.

- Monitor and evaluate business performance, identify performance gaps, and propose corrective actions to ensure targets are met.

- Prepare and deliver insightful presentations and reports to clients and senior management, highlighting key findings and recommendations.

Industry Knowledge and Thought Leadership:

- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in CPG, retail, e-commerce, and modern trade.

- Contribute to the development of intellectual property, white papers, and thought leadership initiatives.

- Participate in industry conferences, workshops, and events to expand the professional network and establish credibility.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Management, Strategy, or a related field.

- Proven experience in strategy consulting, preferably within CPG, retail, e-commerce, or modern trade sectors.

- Deep understanding of industry dynamics, market trends, and competitive landscapes.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.

- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey ideas and recommendations to diverse stakeholders.

- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

- Proficiency in using data analysis tools, market research methodologies, and strategy frameworks.

- Familiarity with digital technologies, e-commerce platforms, and data-driven decision-making.

- Strong business acumen and the ability to think strategically and critically.

- Willingness to travel, as the job may involve working on-site with clients.

Experience min: 7 years post MBA.
