Manager - Strategic Procurement - Manufacturing Firm

Job Description :

- Business analysis on Raw Material & Packing Procurement on monthly basis. Assists Chairman to build a strategic Road Map to build the operations and prioritize on the effective transition journey.

- Strategy formulation for smooth procurement of RM and packing material.

- Monitoring major RM stock as per Index price movement. MIS and Reporting.

- Responsible for SOP creation, evaluation, sign off and documentation. Follow-ups and close coordination with team on management directed initiatives and ensure implementation of the same.

- Participate in various meetings and workgroups to integrate operational activities, communicate issues, obtain approvals and resolve problems.

- Take active part in price negotiations, improvement projects and provide operational inputs that enable decision-making. Liaison and co-ordination with abroad counterparts on improving operations.

- Support team for improving the process through analysis. Ensure purchases are made as per SOP.

- Provides direction, leadership and resources to ensure successful implementation, solution preparation, delivery to the field and measurement of initiatives that are the most highly complex and strategic in nature.
