Manager - Strategic HR Operations - Engineering/Product Firm (8-12 yrs)

Our client is the one of the largest engineering/product firm with significant market share globally and an enviable reputation with their unrivaled product knowledge, most comprehensive and best product portfolio in the industry. With a strong monopoly and their exponential growth across the region, they are presently seeking Strategic HR Operations manager for their business globally (approx. 600 people) to join their leadership team based out of Gurgaon

Reporting into the Global Head HR Operations and having a team, of 2-3 HR professionals, your responsibilities as a Manager HR Operations for approx. 600 people will include:

- Designing and Execution of the end to end HR Operations strategy for employees globally

- Ensure adequate and recommend best practices for hire to retire HR processes

- Enable transition from existing systems/ excel driven processes to best modules and software based processes (HR automation) 

- Extensively work on evaluating and implementing new HR practices around merit based performance processes,recruitment,governance models, compliances, organizational development and accordingly recommend best HR processes

- Handle end to end compliances including Labor laws and other payroll specific statutory compliances

- Analyse, evaluate and lead cost sheet monthly bifurcation and allocation along with the business and HR Leaders

- Managing and revamp, if required, HR guidelines and company level policies by actively engaging with all stakeholders

- Managing entire HR operations portfolio including payroll, HR MIS, Analytics, alumni FnF management, employee database reports, Exit management and HR dashboards

- Bring in new Employee Engagement initiatives

- Ensure and provide advice and insights to the senior business stakeholders regarding outline, design and delivery of HR strategies

- Be a "business partner" and key member of the leadership team to align the HR processes to the business goals

- Define policies and processes in HR for multiple geographies

- Focus on capability building and designing new initiatives in the field of career pathing, talent management, succession planning, grading and leveling etc.

- Be thorough in developing process excellence and process enhancements in the field of organization structure, Talent development, capability development, recruitment processes etc. of employees in US and APAC

- Handle all HR Operations, transactions and processes, employee grievances at a global level

- Be an engine for HR Analytics and work closely with the senior business stakeholders as a problem solver for all strategic business issues

- Creatively apply strong business acumen with strong communication skills in driving the people initiatives

- Close interaction and providing active support to CEO and business heads on strategizing around compensation planning, performance management, L&D, rewards and recognitions, talent management etc. to ensure consistent implementation of decisions and successful delivery of the processes

The Successful Applicant

- 8 - 12 years of experience as a strong and specialised HR Operations professional from a engineering firm/ start up background as a must have

- Candidates only with a Full time MBA from a premier B school will be considered

- Candidates can come from a start-up, Product Technology, IT, IT software services companies only. Other applications will not be considered

- Only thorough HR operations & strategic HR profiles who have handled process excellence in HR operation roles previously, will be considered

- Must come with a robust understanding of HR process enhancements and improvisations

- Strong problem solving capability

- Global and senior stakeholder management experience is preferred

- Excellent people management skills and ability to handle group of Top tier/hi pot talent is a must have

- Should be able to work in a dynamic, fast paced and ever changing business environment

- Agility and flexibility in work as well as thought process

- Excellent communication and presentation skills
