Job title : Manager Finance Statutory Experience : 5-6 years in a managerial position Qualifications : Chartered Accountant Key tasks: - Manage customer accounts - Oversee Invoicing &amp; Returns of books, Customer receivables, including reconciliation of accounts. - Reviewing of for the collections bank account to ensure that there are no unrecorded transactions in our books of account and all transaction recorded in our books have a corresponding record reflected in the bank statement. - Reviewing of Key Customers and enabling closure of open transactions and working towards resolutions resolution of open transactions. - Statutory and legal Compliance. - Managing documentation with respect to Statutory and Corporate Reports - Providing support to Statutory and Tax Auditors - Oversee the Company Secretary relations - Liaising with external Regulators and Advisors - Coordinate in e-filing of Annual Returns - Submission of application for ECBs with RBI and filing of Returns required under FEMA - Deposition of Withholding Taxes on monthly basis, filing quarterly and annual returns and issuing Tax Certificates. - Preparation of records and reports for Transfer Pricing Audit and certification - Preparation of Final Accounts as per Indian GAAP and IFRS. - Annual accounts closing - Vetting of contracts/agreements other than authors and publishers contracts and assist the company in seeking legal opinion as an when required - Manage the operations and ensuring smooth functioning and key relations - Third Party Warehousing and logistics service providers, Freight Forwarders etc. - Shared responsibilities of banking, payment approvals (excluding authors and publishers). - Working closely with Finance Manager Corporate to ensure smooth functioning of the division which includes sharing of information and providing cover as needed during absence. - Review of the month end provision for expenses required for preparation of the monthly reports and providing timely information to the Finance Manager Corporate. - Responsible for smooth functioning of company ERP along with Finance Manager Corporate. - Defining and Ensuring Process Efficiencies as directed by Internal Audit - Reviewing adequacy of controls in the operational activities. Skills/knowledge: - Accounting Fundamentals, Deduction of tax at source under the Indian Tax Laws, ERP and Microsoft Office. Leadership and interpersonal skills, Team player.
