Manager - Statutory Audit - CA - Private Equity Fund

Our client is a Private Equity Fund from New Work and is looking for suitable candidate who will play a crucial role in assisting the Senior Members of the Fund in the following areas :

At Fund Level :

- Undertake annual valuation of investments in India and liase with Fund Auditors for its finalization

- Work along with Consultants (Tax, Accounting, Secretarial, etc) to provide inputs for structuring of Fund's exit from Investments

At Portfolio Company :

- Managing relationship with Finance & Accounts team at Portfolio Companies and overseeing accounting and compliances (tax, statutory, secretarial)

- Responsible for getting Financial Statements prepared for portfolio companies and closely monitoring audit completion

- Reviewing Budgets, Cash Flow Statements and other MIS Reports for Portfolio Companies

- Responsible for monitoring Tax Audit and filing of Tax Returns (Income Tax, Service Tax, VAT)

- Monitoring status of Tax Demands, Notices, etc and coordinating with Consultants for providing appropriate responses for resolution

- Reviewing payments (pre and post) from Portfolio Companies

- Responsibility for ensuring compliance with Internal Financial Controls and Internal Controls in Portfolio Companies

- Monitoring compliance with Secretarial requirements - Filing, Statutory Registers, Board Minutes, etc.

Requirements :

- Chartered Accountant with 3-5 years of post qualification experience

- Working in Statutory Audit Department of any Big 4 Accounting Firm

- Job requires 15-20% travel within India
