Manager - Statutory Audit/Assurance - Big4 Shared Service

Position summary :

As a Manager, you will leverage your project and relationship management to support the management with a sizeable portfolio. In addition, you will also support the operational aspects of engagement management, such as engagement finances, resource management, and elements of risk management.

You will act as a mentor to the junior staff, managing and coaching them, thereby playing a key role in the development of the team.

Primary responsibilities :

- Assurance practice supports with their reviews across industry sectors, including financial services.

- Develop and maintain productive relationships with key engagement team contacts, i.e., engagement managers and project managers

- Develop an understanding of Risk Management procedures, and ensure that these are embedded in the team's work

- Work closely with engagement managers to transition new engagements.

- Identify opportunities to standardize and optimize Assurance processes across a portfolio of clients

- Contribute to technical and soft-skills training to continually develop the team's skills

DESIRED SKILLS :

- A qualified chartered accountant or CPA with over 5+ years of experience

- Knowledge of Indian and International accounting and auditing standards (IFRS or UK GAAP)

- Effective interpersonal, risk management, facilitation and presentation skills

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

- Financial Services industry experience is an added advantage
