This position is for one of the Global Engineering MNC in Bangalore

Position : Manager/Sr Manager - Taxation

Qualification:

UG : Any Graduate - Any Specialization

PG : CA

- Requirement: An Individual with experience in indirect tax, Cenvat Credit Rules, Service Tax Statute, VAT, Service Tax, STPI.

Job Responsibilities and Requirements for Direct Tax :

- The incumbent will handle engagements related to Indirect Tax Laws, Appeals, Tax Restructuring, Tax

- Advisory and Consulting pertaining to Service Tax, VAT, Excise and Customs.

- Assist public and private company clients in reaching their goals through audit, tax, advisory, risk assessment.

- Ensure a company's annual earnings, expenditures and investments are reported with accuracy and completeness.

- Research the implications of tax laws and advise clients on tax related issues.

- Manage, develop, and mentor staff/managers on projects and assess performance through formal periodic reviews and informal feedback.

- Plan, direct, and execute various tax projects.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

- Chartered Accountant (CA)

- Experience of 8-12 years

- Relevant tax (International Tax / Corporate Tax / Expat Tax / Transaction Tax / Indirect Tax) experience in manufacturing environment.

- Strong Technical base in the area of operation (Income Tax, Excise duty, Custom duty, Service Tax, VAT laws, Companies Act, SEBI, FEMA, Stamp Duty laws etc as relevant)
