Client:  Our Client is one of the leading ones in Luxury Retail with over 30 brands to its credit.   It has aggressive plans to build a strong presence in the luxury retail sector in India, spanning across various segments such as apparels, shoes, accessories, jewellery etc.  With their rapid expansion plans, they are looking for strong marketing talent that would provide strategic direction and enable them to build strong brand presence for their portfolio in India. The position would be in the nature of Marketing / Sr. Manager and would report into the Marketing Head.   We have been given to understand that the exact size and nature of the portfolio will be decided depending on the profile and experience levels of the potential candidate.  The marketing function is a distinct function from the business and sales functions. The marketing function is responsible for charting out the strategy for the iconic global brand equity. It would be the guardian of the overall equity and responsible for developing key growth strategies for the brand. It needs to ensure that all functions are completely aligned and the brand plans are excellently executed in the market. The Marketing Manager will need to ensure that the entire marketing mix spanning communication, public relations, digital marketing and in-store plans are well executed and consistent with the brand's equity.  Purpose Statement : Enhance the in-store consumer experience.   Overview Job Role:  Marketing calendar:   - Conceptualization and execution of the marketing calendar for the set of stores under him/her.   - Aligning the store marketing calendar with partners and malls.   Footfall driving programs :   - Working with the store operations team to conceptualize and execute footfall driving activities  - Coordination and relationship building with the Mall marketing teams.   - Devise visibility initiatives within the mall and execute the same.   Events and Activation's:  - Working with our partners to conceptualize in-store events.  - Working closely with agencies, mall marketing teams and store operations team to execute these events.   Customer Engagement Programs :  - Understanding the various segments of customers and devising appropriate engagement and retention programs for them.   Digital:   - Managing the social media channels of the brand - Facebook, twitter and YouTube.   - Working with Digital agencies to drive our digital campaigns.   Note : The Position involves Travelling both around the country and within the base city   As already mentioned, Our client has aggressive plans in place to become a leader in the fast growing but relatively nascent luxury retail space in India.
